Anyone who can tell me what to expect next?

EAD case history.JPG

I had the same thing with my service request and after 15 days the case status changed to "New Card Being Produced". Keep your hopes high. Best of luck!

So technically, your EAD was produced within the 90-day time frame without expediting?

Current timeline:

July 2019 - filed I-751

August 2020 - filed N400

Sept. 2020 - i-751 status "Case Was Transferred to a New Office". Transferred to NBC.

April 12, 2021 - N400 interview in LA passed (with a pending i-751)

May 20, 2021 - I-751 status changed to Approved and N400 status changed to Oath Will Be Scheduled. 🤩

May 21, 2021 - received a call and email from USCIS Los Angeles with my NOA with my oath schedule.

May 28, 2021 - oath taking schedule in USCIS DTLA office. 😍

From what I can read on the time line is that a service request was submitted after 77 days without expediting the EAD and that the EAD was in the mail after 93 days.

It took 93 days. I raised one service request on day 77. No expedition though.

Whops...I didn't read that. So you might get your EAD some time this month.

When did you call them? I see you submitted your application at the beginning of February.

Yes it might show up in the mail in a week. I called on april 24th for the service request. After that I called on 90th day too, to raise another service request but the reps told me that the system wont allow creating a new request if it hasnt been 30 days since the first request. I eventually just waited and after three days I received the beautiful message from heaven hahaa 😂

@Becci391 congratulations on the new update on your case, I pray it won't take up to the 30 days before you have your EAD. Good luck.

That's what I'm hoping too because my husband and I will be gone for a week next week and when we come back I hope to find at least the approval letter in the mail.

Got it! I'll probably try to wait until 90 days before I make a service request. No rush on my end. Let's see if they will definitely process the EAD within 90 days, like a control-variable experiment.
