So i've decided to apply for the CR1 Visa by myself with out a 3rd party but i always like to make sure i have absolutely EVERYTHING before I send it in. It would be awesome if you could answer a few questions and let me know if i have everything! Thanks VisaJourney Fam!

1. Am i supposed to send in the original copy of my marriage certificate (I was married in Morocco) accompanied by the translated copy? or just a copy of the MC and a copy of the translated copy?

2. I have an affidavit from my in-laws who were there when me and my husband were married, is this enough? My husband and I just got married in November 2016 so we don have children, never lived in the same country to have joint anything;property, accounts, etc. Should i sen pictures as evidence? I didn't see that on recent lists of what to send but i have seen pictures on a list from past documents checklist.

SO these are the papers i have let me know if i need anything else:

             A. Check for I-130 filing fee of $535

                B. Completed form G-1145

              C. Completed and signed form I-130: Petition for my spouse,

D. Copy of  (Petitioner) birth certificate to prove United States Citizenship

E. Original and translated copy of our Marriage Certificate

F. Completed and signed form G-325A for (Petitioner)

G. One passport photo of  (Petitioner)

H. Completed and signed form G-325A for (Beneficiary)

I. One passport photo of (Beneficiary)

J. Original and translated copies of an affidavit sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of our bona fide marriage

1. Just a copy of the MC and copy of the translation. Save originals for interview.

2. Affidavits mean little; concentrate on pics w\fam, chat\skype logs, gifts to each other, boarding passes, hotel bills, etc.

You are the Moroccan?  I am assuming this as you say say in  C petition for my spouse

only the american can file for spouse

if you are the american:

Now, other countries will say only need copies of documents but by time petition gets to NVC an original will be asked for so be prepared to send it

you need to  send photos of wedding ( i put 4 to an 8x 10  paper) and identified the people in photo

they like to see not just you and mate but american with family of the spouse also

25 photos of wedding and 25 to indicate a honeymoon

include a cover letter saying how you met, meeting moroccan family, your trips to morocco, where you stayed when there and how you communicate (chats, or phone) and how  long you have known each other
