passport picture size for beneficiary

So Im back in the states, I have mu husbands passport picture from Morocco, but i guess its not the U.S standard size of 2"x2". I asked the photo place if they could resize it but they said its a government document and it can not be resized. Any suggestions on how i can resize it or is it okay to send the size it already is?

You can ask your husband to get the new photo done and send you the soft copy. You can take that soft copy to get the photo printed out and they can get you the copy with 2'*2' size.

 

I assume you have physical print of your husband's passport size photo now, which is not worth altering to fit the size, instead get the new photo clicked and take print in US with the soft copy.

I had my fiance send me the digital copy of her passport photo, then used a website to make a 4x6 with 2 US passport size copies of the photo in it. Then I printed that 4x6 and cut to the US standard size (matching it to my own US passport photo sizes).

 

Edit: I had the photos printed at Walgreen and verified with them that the final result was the right size and met the other requirements. I had to do the cutting myself (well...my friend did because I'm awful with scissors).

He needs to get a new picture taken, get a digital copy of it then use the official US Department of State online cropping tool to get it sized right. He then can either send you the resized picture or just let you resize it; whatever you choose works.

PS. Photographers in Morocco can usually print the right US Passport photo size, but I'd recommend using the tool I mentioned just to be sure.

i've sent the pictures and other document to my fiance in the USA by Fedex , it took around 3 days to arrive and that can coast around $80

Yup, I did the same actually. I sent my fiancé my passport pictures with FedEx and it cost me around 700Dh. But I also sent him a digital copy just in case.
