Hello everyone.

My fiance and I had planed to get married after 10 years of being together. Our application was approved and we where at the last step (the interview). I was told to schedule an interview in Cd. Juarez. I didn't book it because we got into an argument and stop speaking to eachother. Its been about a month sense I was asked to schedule an appointment but I haven't. She told me to book it eatherway but we havent spoken in over a month.

How long after my approval do I have to decide if we want to go to an interview or not?
Do we need to inform anyone

The petition usually has an expiry date of 4 months, if you do not schedule an appointment or keep in contact, it will expire and you need to start afresh.

With all the time and money it costs to go through the process, I'd just go to the interview, get the visa and once you have it, I believe it is good for 6 months, so you don't have to immigrate as soon as you get it. If you think there's still a chance to fix things between the two of you, I'd go ahead with the plan and then use the 6 months or so you get to figure things out.
