Today is the day! - I finally file the application

I sent ours certified. I am pretty sure that the service center I use has a special delivery address for Fed Ex. I know it has several PO boxes so you need to make sure you use the correct box for the petition. What service center area are you in?

so they have a special fed ex address? I can only find one address. Does that mean they wont accept fedex? What is the recommended method?

the address of the service center I put on things like the cover letter and such is that not the mailing address for submissions?

Congratulations on sending off the application! Hope the process goes smoothly for you :)

thank you! :D I can't wait!

Vermont only has one address.

I sent my application USPS Express Mail but I don't think it really matters. Just make sure you send it so it can be tracked.

Congrats on the start of your journey.

I was so excited when I saw our approval online (December 1/05) that I called Bruce at work and said ''We're approved!!" We were too excited.....only to find out we still had tons of paper work and leg work to do. But we're almost there....Interview April 5 in Montreal. So good luck to you and yours and God bless..............{{{{{HUGS}}}}

At the risk of souding redundant, fed ex is ok? Or should I use USPS just because that seems to be the most common way used? This is like one of the most important steps in my life so I want to make sure I get it right.

THanks for everything guys!

Meh, nothing to see here.

Do they accept Federal Express? or should it be registered mail? after I know that, it's ready to be sent! :D

Congratulations! My American fiance sent our application certified mail it takes a few days for them to sign it and send a NOA1 but it got there no problem. PLease fill in your timeline and keep it up-to-date as it is important in working out the statistics on this forum. Thank you :)

Prepare to wait :)

I wouldn't move forward with the next steps (as outlined in the guides) until you receive your NOA2. Then you can go nuts. You're lucky though because if you're package is perfect, the VSC has been doing approvals in less then 2 weeks lately.

You'll still have plenty of time though because the wait for interviews in Manilla is quite long.
