Congrats!!! Glad to hear the news..I'll have to wait a lil longer though since I am filing waiver but still happy for Vermont- April filers.

Fania&Nelson, that is FABULOUS to hear!  First VSC April filer through!  Just this morning, I checked the VSC March filers (the ones who actually have timelines on VJ), and there did not appear to be much movement.  So I am really excited to see that at least ONE of us is through.  Fania&Nelson, you are at the first of the month, and we are at the last of the month, but it's just so good to see SOMETHING happening!

With Fania&Nelson's good news, I thought I would update my informal stats...

 

Remember - this is from VJ members who have their timelines set with dates.  That's why there is such a difference in our spreadsheet and the stats I show here for April filers.

 

February 2016 Filers - Total VJ VSC Filers - 33;  Approved - 28;  Approval percentage - 88%

March 2016 Filers - Total VJ VSC Filers - 35;  Approved - 7;  Approval percentage - 20%  (only one approval since my last stats)

April 2016 Filers - Total VJ VSC Filers - 31;  Approved - 1;  Approval percentage - 3%

 

Not sure how many April 2016 Filers found "Part 2" - so we might not be getting any input from those in our group without VJ timelines.

I believe this week (27 through 31st) is the week for April 2016 filers. Mark my words, I think you will be early April 3 through 7 approvals list...

I am the May filer, I am expecting to hear something from them April 17th through 26th....

Thank you for your kind words, ZoomZoom.  I am a little more pessimistic than you are, only because the approval rating for March is still pretty low.  But I'm feeling a little better than I was LAST week!!!

Our April 2016 Filers CSC sheet shows a few folks are still waiting for their approval - but at least three of the names never put their biometrics date in the spreadsheet - so I'm thinking they wouldn't be responding anyway.  Most of the others left had RFEs or are Waivers.  We're showing an 84% completion rate - but that is likely skewed because of the non-respondents.

 

Did you have an RFE or are you a Waiver case?  That could mean a little longer.  You are well beyond the date that CSC is working on.  Have you inquired about your status?

No RFE, no waiver. My NOA date is May 20th and haven't heard anything so far from them. I have called and sent e-inquiries and they told me I should hear something back from them by April 5th, but I am getting impatient.

Its after almost a year when I filed and I had added all the documents in my application like- rental lease, bank statements, W2's etc. We don't have any children together yet and don't own any asset yet. 

When I had received a call for change in address confirmation, the person had said that all my papers are complete and just regular processing time and now this happened. I am so frustrated.

Should i send them the same documents again? What extra should I add? anybody received RFE this late into the processing?

I know it seems like crazy late in the game to ask for more information. But the fact is that nobody has looked at our files since they were accepted. So any of us that get RFEs are liable to get them at the same time others are getting approvals. It's immensely frustrating, I know.

Anyway... have they asked for anything in particular? If they have, (even if you already sent it) send that. Also, send them every bank statement between when you filed and now. You could highlight your shared payments on the statements if you want. If you've already done your income taxes, send either the return or transcript (whichever you have). Send new pictures of the two of you together. If you didn't send affidavits before, maybe now's the time to get some people who know you to write a letter about your happy marriage. Health insurance? Credit cards? Tickets for vacations you went on together? I'd focus on the time between when you filed (if you feel like you sent everything back then) and now.
