Hello all,
NVC received all the requested documents, civil, sponsor, ds260 and financial on the 27th of Sep 2016. They told us to call them after 6 weeks, 6 weeks passed and we called, they said no body reviewed them, and the lady over the phone said; I will send it right now to a supervisor for review, and we need 6weeks. We called them after 6 weeks and they said the same no body reviewed them. Now its been 16weeks since they received our file and no official answer from them if any paper was missing or if our case in completed for an interview., or even it has been reviewed. Please any advice,
Thanks

It is a thing for some people sadly. I don't know what happens on there end but some people can sit at this NVC stage for awhile. Just keep pushing forward.

Thanks NikLR. To be honest with you I don't know what they mean and what the difference between them. My wife who's in the USA holds a green card had applied for me for family reunion I130, got approved then 16weeks ago the NVC received all the documents that requested from us a little earlier. But since then we didn't hear back from them. I thought this would be a IR1 visa type. please advice!
