Can he not stay if his family can support him and he or his family don't work??

B1/B2 visa is a short term stay tourist or business  visa which can be  max. of 180 days. Check your I-94. if you overstays there it means you want to jeopardize your original immigration case. There is a little chance that you can change it to student visa for longer stay. Changing visa status due to  Marriage is not option for you.

i was petitioned under  F2b, but because i am not getting any younger i got married last January 2011. On 2013 my petition was approved. but then i stated my case and was not anymore current again. got to wait for an unspecified period of time. because it was automatically changed to F3. this 2017 i got separated from my wife..would my original petitioned be pursued as f2b?

Are you aware that F2B can't get married?  Only F1 can marry and change category to F3. Looks like you withdraw your petition.

Hi,

I may or may not be confused.

I'm an F3, and when entering my EAC # under USCIS case status - I get the following message:

On February 22, 2013, we received your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by March 24, 2013, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new

Does that mean my Priority Date is February 22, 2013 ?

Is it normal I have not received anything since ?

The case was filed via my FIL who is an american citizen, and is now sick with a form of blood cancer/blood disorder and undergoing chemo - any chance to apply /speak to anyone to speed the case up ?

Any help or further info - would be VERY appreciated !

TIA

Yes. That is your pd. Current pd is in 2005. You still have to wait at least 7 -8 years more. There is no way you can speed up the process.

Hi

did anybody receive interview letter for dates beyond sept 8 2005 - one person told me that their PD was oct 2005 and they already have an interview in January .

Is that legally possible or error.

Does anyone know if  US Embassy, New Delhi post the Immigrant visa interview schedule on the website anymore?  I know back in 2010 I was able to find a PDF on their website it showed the case# and  interview date, time. I remember I was able to my cousin's interview date and time 1 week before she received the email.
