Congrats to everyone who received approved and have joined the NVC team.  It's been about 4 weeks since I sent in supporting documents for DS-260.  I give them a call like every 2 weeks just to make sure they don't forget us LOL.

Ahhhh... this is killing me. I still don't have updates on my parents petition. it's going 6 months already  I wish I would've of listened to other people that told me to write my senator to get it expedite. Now I feel like by the time my parents get here is also the time I will be on deployment zone

My parents case is also in Texas Service Center and POD was 1/25/17. I hope I hear from them soon too! This waiting game is killing me.

glad that the texas service center finally processing some applications. Mine was submitted jan 19th, haven't heard from them yet. i hope soon too..i am thinking next month probably or hopefully?

For anyone who has already filed and sent in their Form I-130 - did you need a cover letter? if so where did you get one from? I'm about to file for my son but i'm not sure if i need a cover letter or not.  Thank you all in advance.

I got my NOA2 in the mail today. Sooo happy. Notice date was the 23rd of this month. No other updates online.  With this in hand I know for sure that my case are moving. To all of you in NVC stage, what kind of documents did you prepare? This is the time I should be gathering all of my documents correct?

Congratulations! Hope I hear from them soon as well! My PD is 01/18/2017. Did you get an email before the mail though? Like had you sent in that document requesting email notifications for the petitions?

Thank you! No. I did not get an email from them, though I sent the paper for notifications. It just came in the mail.  My PD was 01/25/2017. You'll hear from them soon too.

Update: just received NVC case #, Beneficiary ID # and Invoice # from NVC. I had to call them today to get all of these information. I actually called them every other day since they received my documents from USCIS on 06/16/17. So it took 2 weeks for NVC just to create case number etc. I'm now just waiting for the hard copy of welcome letter with instructions from NVC coming through mail. I have no idea why the case number etc was already created but they didn't send me anything through my email. I even checked my junk email folder lol.  I'm glad I kept calling them lol. Good luck to all of us here, 5 years not seeing my parents has been really tough for me 😭😭

My mom got her interview scheduled on august 17 ,yayyy!! i'm so excited and nervous at the same time  Goodluck to every one! it will soon come to an end.

Hi Everyone! I checked my father in law's receipt number today and he has his card in production as of 6/28/17!! He is currently here, we have filed at the end of Jan for an adjustment of status. Doesn't seem like he will have an interview... we'll be celebrating once we get the card in mail! Hope all of you guys receive great news and come to the end of the journey soon. Good luck!!
