My wife's spouse visa was approved today at the accra embassy in Ghana. All glory to God. It's been a long wait and finally the day has come. She was interviewed by an african american male. We had a two month old baby who we added to the application two weeks ago before the interview ( we were made to pay the IV fee for the baby during the interview). She was interview was scheduled at 7:30am, We arrived at the embassy at 7:00 am and the doors opened a few minutes after 7:00 for the security checks. As usual, I wasn't allowed to enter, Just my wife and the baby. But when my wife got inside, the lady taking the documents asked her if she didn't have anyone to help her with the baby, then my wife told her I'm outside, then she said why didn't I come in, interesting huh :)

We included our wedding album, about 40 additional pictures, whatsapp chat records, facebook chats, hangout chats, money transfer reciepts, my plane tickets (four trips in the last four years), joint tax returns.

They asked her similar questions a lot of people have posted here:

who filed for you

when did you first meet your husband

how did you meet

how have you been communicating while he's away

how many times has your husband been home

why did it take you a while before you guys got married

is that the only baby you have

is the petitioner the father of the baby

what do you guys do when your husband visits

I'm approving your visa, you can pick it up in two weeks. In all, my wife said the interviewer was nice during the whole process.
