Embassy Review : At long last the journey has ended . Is been rough, but God is good we've been approved . Our case took longer than most people in here ,which made us really worried , but thanks to someone here I forgot her name pls forgive me . She advised me to contact my state senator which I did . The senator has been more than helpful she was able to get responses faster and when I express my concern with the embassy, she went to the extent of sending an email on our behalf to the Ambassador. Though they have no say in getting us approved, but upon our evidence and everything I submitted to her, she insisted they take a closer look into our case. it gave us a bit of hope, but we still had our homework to do.

My fiance's interview was scheduled for 7:30am today . He said he was the second to go in, but sat there while everybody got called. Finally, it got to his turn. The consulate he faced was one African American lady in her mid 50s I believe she's the lady most people talk about here. From the way he described ,it was more of an interrogation than an interview .
Here's What we submitted
We had everything in a flexible binder everything was in a paper protector except the msgs and call logs.
we placed everything in order just as they said in the letter .
I had a table of content with numbers and . Labeled each document at the top with sticky paper. With the pictures I had an album sheet I bought from Walmart pictures goes in front and back and instead of writing at the back I put each description on a sticky paper and sticked them at the top of the pics with dates n locations. I also had my parents, his mom and couple of my friends write us a letter. We also wrote a page of our future plans. This was something we did on our own.

They took our supporting documents before calling him. Everything was well organized. For some reason The lady was insisting my fiance's cousin hooked us up which wasn't the case. I think She was trying to confused him, but my fiance stood on what he believed.. He said it came to a point others were watching them . She tried so hard to find something but my fiance didn't let anything discouraged him he answered everything she threw at him. If he wasn't sure of a date or location he was honest about it He said after a while she toned down and finally handed him the blue slip.

His advice is to be confident if it's real there won't be anything to hid. They might try to intimidate you but don't be hesitate to say the right thing even if consular is saying something different keep an eye contact. He also thinks their decision is mostly based on what we submit to USCIS, so that should be solid.
He called me I didn't know what I was about to hear, but thank God. For all those about to go on your interview Good luck. And to those that just started hang in there
Sorry this is long
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
