For the G1145- even though I included it in my petition, I only received a text notification for NOA 1. I never got any notification for NOA 2 and only found out by checking on the website, so I wouldn't worry about not filing it. Makes waiting for NOA 1 a bit more annoying but I'm sure you'll hear from them soon.

The holiday has also made processing times slow down a bit, and there are quite a few October/November filers who have waited well over a month for NOA 2, and are still waiting if that helps you estimate. Hopefully it will pick up after the holidays! Good luck :)

Thanks for the info :) a month for NOA2 is still good...I wouldnt mind that at all :)

I hope this Valentines Day is wonderful for all you couples out there waiting to be united with your better halves :)(L):goofy:

No problem at all! :) This whole process is full of waiting and anxiousness every step of the way- any estimates certainly help ease some nerves! :content: I hope for you that things go smoothly and quickly! a doubt - we have not yet received the NOA1 but the money order has been encashed already 4 days ago.

What could cause this delay? I am assuming for now that date of encashement would roughly be the NOA1 date. True? :)

Is the money order encashment date usually same as NOA1 date?

Our MO is encashed as per the verification from the bank, but we haven't received the NOA1 yet :(

We received NOA1 within a week of filing, though the hardcopy was received after 11 days!

Looks like the case has been transferred to California.

I assume the office is bigger with either more staff or more K1 specific cases are handles there, but i've seen people say CAl is much faster than other centres.

Has that been true in any yours experience?

Just to clarify, you case was not "transferred" per se.  It was just sent to the CSC that will handle your case.  The Texas lockbox just takes your payment and accepts or rejects the initial application.  Then it is sent to the corresponding CSC
