Are u using android? On Apple phone I don't get the option to look up cases nearby on the uscis app so it's frustrating. My PD is Nov 30 so I'm still waiting in slow Nebraska

Approved 😊😊😊😊😊 Nebraska center..pd Dec 8... I'm in Florida and in the midst of the upcoming storm this is def. Something I needed to hear...  i just wish my husband was here now.. I'm in ft Lauderdale and they are saying it's bad real bad real bad.  But hey... APRROVED 😊😊😊😊 yet....😞😢😭

Congratulations. My app has been going crazy all day with notifications for approvals, a couple RFEs, cases sent to department of state etc. Today has been a pretty active day for Nebraska. Maybe they're all back from their summer vacations energized and ready to work lol

I received an email, a text, and a notification from the app...they all came in at the same time.

Thank you so much.. they say the approval is the longest process... anyone knows what I should expect to see in the letter.? Fees?...

No NOA2 is nothing special, just telling you to wait for 6 weeks, the notice from NVC will have more useful details.

Others have posted what it says around the forum, I don't have a direct link right now.

You'll get another update in about another 2 weeks that it was sent to the state department, but you'll still have to wait maybe another week after that till its actually received and in their system till you can get your case number.

I got an approval today too! Dec 6 I filed.  they said they'd send a letter with instructions but last time they said i'd get a letter I never got anything, so hoping I get an email too...do they send the letter electronically if you've opted for email communication?

Yes, the first time I didn't get a text only email, for NOA2 I had signed up and account on USCIS and reset my notification settings, don't know if that did anything but know I've gotten texts and email for 2 events.

Just got approval by email!!  (No text message yet.)

 

Priority date Dec 21 at Nebraska, approval date Sept 11.  I'm a little bummed out now though, since they're going to send our approval letter to our home in Brazil, but we leave this Saturday for a month-long holiday... which means we won't be able to take any next steps until we get back in mid-October, so we're looking at a couple weeks of lost time.

 

Is it possible to fill out/submit forms/pay fees remotely without having the letter in hand?  I could also ask my in-laws to check our mail periodically and then scan/email when it arrives.

You won't have any lost time, maybe that'll actually help to keep your mind off of things.

It'll be at least a month till you can do anything, and the NOA2 doesn't have anything you'll need.

For instance, I'm on week 4 now I think and still waiting till I can get my case number.

I'm hoping by the end of this week.

 

You'll get another notice when it goes to the department of state, maybe in 2 weeks, then another week or 2 till they'll have it and it takes them time to process it still.
