So I was finally able to get to a higher up officer at USCIS asking about our case and why we never got a receipt. She said that biometrics are scheduled Feb 10 (we filed Dec 20) but we still haven't gotten anything in the mail.

 

She gave us the receipt number to track online and all it's showing is case was received and fee waiver was approved.

OUR Timeline

10/2012 - Met for first time in Texas (One Month Visit)

01/2013 - Met again in England (One Month Visit)

05/2013 - Went to get MARRIED in England (Four Month Visit)

09/2013 - Husband came back to US with me (Three Month Visit)

05/2014 - Husband is coming to visit and will stay till August! (Three Month Visit)

July 2014 - Had a baby!


USCIS - Timeline

06/28/2013 - Got Married in England

08/28/2013 - Sent I130 Packet

09/06/2013 - NOA1 Received

02/24/2014 - Case Transferred to CSC

03/12/2014 - RFE Received in mail

03/28/2014 - RFE Sent Back to USCIS

04/08/2014 - NOA2 Received


NVC - Timeline

04/16/2014 - Case Received at NVC

05/13/2014 - Case # Assigned

05/17/2014 - DS-261 Filed

05/19/2014 - AOS Bill Received / AOS Bill Paid

just remembered I need to update my info!! I have been so out of the loop. Had my Biometrics done at USCIS in Portland, 0 hassle. Jan 10 2017. Now it's a metter of waiting for an approval letter. But... Code 1 has not worked so far and code 2. still shows as fees waived. Guess people haven't cared for updating my info in USCIS´s system.

Cool!!! I did my biometrics on 01/09 in Seattle and hopefully it will be the approval letter next. The fee weaver is but a glitch.. I think a lot of people are getting it

In your NOA, you get a receipt number, WAC#, correct? in the biometric appointment there should be another WAC# (CRI89), so your bio appt has two WAC# with two bar codes. The new WAC# is the one that works while checking your case on line at the uscis website...at least that works for me.

I am trying to put my Physical address but I am not able to enter it in the form. It is not getting activated even if I select "My mailing address is different from Physical Address'. Did anyone else face the same issue as mine?

Please help!

Yes, I am filing electronically.

I think my above problem is solved. I found out the resolution some time back.

Btw, did you have problems filling out N/A? I can't, because it does not accept non alpha-numeric characters like '/'

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
