As you will obviously need your passport for travel it is fine to remove it from the plastic pouch however you must not open the sealed envelope containing all your documents for entry into the United States.

Good Luck

Don't panic! You need to take the passport out to show the check in agent at the airport for your flight.

Do not open the paper envelope. Put it in a plastic document wallet if you have one to keep it safe until you arrive. Even a tear in the envelope can be a problem.

You are fine, just don't open the document envelop. Are you done with your CFO/GC seminar? You need to do that.

Have a safe trip.
