AOS (i485, i131, i765) package received October 7th 2016

Biometrics appointment November 22nd but did walk-in November 16th

service request December 21st (75th day) - answer case within current processing time

January 6th service request online (91st day)

got answer on January 12th that my case is on hold because they sent me RFIE on November 3rd and I haven't answered yet...I never got any letter, no updates on website, when I was calling them no one told me that they are waiting for answer for RFIE, they kept saying my case is under review

january 26th USCIS received my answer for RFIE

March 10th EAD/AP approved 

March 17th combo card mailed

March 22nd combo card received

Depends on how long you're married for. If less than two years, the green card will be valid for two years (usually after approval of the i485 but sometimes after the filing date, you'll have to wait

Just got confirmation that my I756 EA cards are being produced! Now hopefully also the AP card will get done soon!

My EAD/AP card arrived today. What a huge relief that is!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy process for the rest of you.

10/05/16: NOA1 Package received

10/18/16: Hard copies received

10/26/16: Appointment letter for Biometrics

11/01/16: RFIE: birth certificate joint sponsor missing

11/08/16: Biometrics

11/22/16: RFIE received

12/14/16: I485 Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

12/19/16: Service request for I765 (day 76)

12/23/16: Letter in mail stating that I765 is within normal processing times

01/03/17: EAD card in production (day 91) later changed to Case Approved

01/03/17: I131 AP case approved

01/06/17: Card has been mailed (day 94)

Today I received a text message about my EAD and AP that they were approved and new card was ordered. 

EB2 ROW TSC 

My RD Oct 7

Bio Nov 8

RFIE Text  Dec 14

RFIE NOA Dec 21

RFIE received Dec 30

EAD/AP Jan 11 

97 days since RD 

 

Waiting for I-485.

Not holding my breath. I'm at 90 days tomorrow and I've done accepted the fact imma lose another job & I'll just forget about it and let USCIS take their time. Worst Martin Luther King day is Monday so they might not even work Friday and Monday so who knows

When they send an RFE for any of those cases that you filed concurrently then it restarts the clock at when they received that RFE response from you! I counted from that 12/5 date in your timeline. Here is the link below that explains this rule.

No it doesn't necessarily. I got an RFIE for my I485. The I485 was put on hold (said so in the status update) and once the response was received they started working on it again. Meanwhile my other cases were not put on hold or reset. I called the hotline and they confirmed it.

 

Cases are only reset when a real vital piece is missing. Like the service fee, proof of identity, blank pages, missing I-94, etc. My RFIE was for birth certificate of joint sponsor

Submitted our package on October 6th and we got the "ready to be scheduled for an interview" in late November.  And yesterday it was updated...and scheduled!  The best part is, our interview is scheduled for February 14th! :)  I was expecting it to take much longer here in Chicago, but apparently it's not as backlogged as I imagined. We got the EAD/AP at just around the 90-day mark (last week), so it will be just over a month between receiving those and the interview.

Congrats! I heard Chicago was fast, I've seen a couple other October filers get interview dates. I know my field office is seriously backlogged so not holding my breath lol. I hope u guys get a nice Valentines day present and update us how ur interview went!
