10/31/2016: Early Biometric Done (Walk-In)

12/06/2016: In Line for Interview

04/20/2016: Online Status Changed to "Interview was Scheduled" 

05/25/2017: Interview Date- Approved!

06/01/2017: Reply to RFE (N-14) Sent

09/20/2017: Email from Ombudsman confirming that they got in touch with USCIS, advised to wait 60 days.

09/22/2017: Request to find out about the case to Senator, acknowledged the receipt of inquiry.

10/02/2017: Ombudsman’s office notified that USCIS made a decision on the case and I will be informed by USCIS within 30 days.

10/02/2017: Talked with a Tier-2 officer and he informed my case was in line for oath since September 22nd, 2017.

10/10/2017: Online status changed to “Inline for Oath ceremony”

10/14/2017: Online status changed to “Oath Ceremony Letter Mailed”

11/03/2017: OATH CEREMONY!

Hello everyone!! Question to you Memphis peeps. Where did you stay for your interview? My interview is next month at 8:15 am and I live abut 4-hour drive from Memphis so I will have to stay the night before my interview. I'm a Feb 2017 filer, just incase you're wondering.

Hello!  I stayed at the Residence Inn Memphis Downtown, at 110 Monroe Avenue, Memphis. It is handy in that it is right next door. I could see the building from my window in the hotel, and it might have been a 2 minute walk, just up the same street. I can't say it's an inexpensive place, but for me, the convenience of having the valet park the car, and simply walk a couple of minutes to the interview and the oath was worth it.

They are very nice at the Memphis office, good luck with your interview!

Thanks for your recommendation, that would be ideal for me to stay closer to the office since it's just going to be me(husband will not be able to join me on that day due to finals week)!! I'm glad to hear that you had a pleasant experience at the Memphis office.

If you're going by yourself then I would definitely take cdneh's recommendation, whilst our hotel was ideal since we wanted to have some Beale Street time, the walk up to the Memphis office was only 5 mins but in that time, we were stopped a couple of times and hit on for  money. Definitely not an environment I would want to be in as a lone female.

Thanks, Shezi. I found a hotel and my grandmother(well, my husband's grandmother) will be joining me. There were a couple of my in-laws who volunteered to join but opted for one person, I think they are more excited than I am. Haha, I am excited too, but nervous. How was your interview, btw?
