I believe there are 3 categories for expedited service, the first requires reason for travel and dates, the second just dates and the third requires no evidence. I took the 3rd option and applied through the passport acceptance facility at the post office, had my passport in hand on the 6th day!

Yes I had my flight reservation with me for 25th of this month, address is 51 SW Ave Miami fl 33130. Call them and make your appointment make sure you speak to someone not a machine then the will tell you when to come .. and go with your flight reservation if you traveling. I paid $225 for large passport and passport card.

We asked for help in AOS because it had been 9 months, my husband the called both senators' offices and they asked us to email the details. Both had made a call to the Memphis field office within 3 days and I had an approval a day later. It's worth a try, right?

Online status updated to Oath Scheduled and letter is in the mail. I should receive the letter in a few days and find out the Oath Date.

I did send an email to my Senator's Office yesterday.

Interview was on July 3, 2016

Updated to "In line for Oath" on July 11.

Yes all the obvious things but we also included an outline of the timeline since filing / how long we waited / what's happened so far - that kind of thing. Both Senators' assistants were very nice and extremely helpful.

Congratulations rana, what a relief! It's hard to know what difference contacting a senator may make - but their assistants told me that the USCIS office doesn't like to be hassled by interference, which can be a good thing!

Hi, I' new here. My N400  priority date is 10-03-2016, biometrics notice was sent 10-15-2016 and completed 11-04-2016, no status update since then. My field office is Chicago and currently they are processing cases from November 19, 2016, so my case is outside of normal processing time. I submitted two online requests to inquire about my case in the past two months and today I got a letter that states "Your application is still pending consideration. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your application."

What should I do next? Is there anybody here who has an application bending in Chicago office?

Thank you Shezi.

I want to point out here, that I called my Senator's Office today and asked them whether anyone saw my email and whether anyone has done anything about it. They informed me that "THEY DID NOT."

So, just to be clear, my senator's office DID NOT influence the notice of my "Oath Date." 

This was just a co-incidence!

I would recommed :

1. Call USCIS and ask for an L2 Officer.

2. Try to get an infopass appointment and go to the field Office, and there, insist on Speaking to an L2 Officer and ask them to pull your file and tell you exactly what is going on.

3. Call your Senator's Office and tell them about your case, and ask them to send a letter to USCIS. Out of your 2 Senators, one deals with USCIS, make sure your request goes to that particular Senator's Office.
