Comments : Wife's interview was in Dhaka, Bangladesh at 8:30 am . It was extremely short. Less than 1 minute! These are the questions:

1) Is this your first marriage? Yes.
2) Your Husband's? Second.
3) Do you have your husband's Divorce Decree? Yes. Handed the Paperwork. He glimpsed at it for 5 seconds.
4) Your husband changed his first name. Do you have any paperwork showing that? Yes. She provided the court order for name change. The Interviewing Officer told her "That's all." You can pick up your visa in two weeks.

Did not ask for any paperwork at all. Not even the signed Affidavit of Support!! She left the Embassy at 11:30 am. At 4 pm same day, the status changed to "Issued."

3 days later on January 17, my wife got a text at 9:40 am that her passport was ready. She went and picked it up within the hour.

On Feb 3rd, She arrived safely in Dallas.

POE Review: Dallas
Event Description
Entry Date : 2019-02-03
Embassy Review : My wife landed at DFW International last Sunday Morning at 8;45 am. She went to the Grey Line (Foreign Visitors with Non-Qualifying Visas), but there were more than 20 people ahead of her, and only 1 Immigration Officer. After 2 hours, when her turn came, the computers were down for 25-30 mins. Finally, after the system started working, an officer asked only 2 things:

1) How long have you been married?
2) What is your husband's address?

The officer stamped her passport CR1 and she went to pick up her luggage than went through customs, where they just opened her carry on and did a quick check and that was all. She got out at 12;00 pm.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
