Thank you. I was hoping she could attend the GCP in Davao, but it appears the choices are only Cebu or Manila.

Yeah it sucks for people like my wife and your fiance that are from Davao. They have to travel to Manila for almost everything when dealing with this. If you want to you can schedule the CFO in Cebu, my wife did that and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We try to stay out of Manila as much as possible so it was good that the CFO was in Cebu as well.

Where in Davao is your fiance from if you don't mind me asking?

Good news. CFO will be in Davao for CDO and GCP October 24 and 25 to conduct seminars, so my fiance will not have to travel to Cebu.

She is a school teacher and plans to file for an early retirement. However, her employer said the paperwork for retirement will take several months to complete. Her passport is expiring on May 22 2017. I think her passport was stamped in Manila when she went for her Visa interview at the consulate. If she applies for a new passport in Davao, will they stamp it as the same stamp used after the visa interview?

USEM does not stamp passports they affix the visa to the passport.

No worries. She will be able to keep the expired passport with the visa in it.

If I am not a former filipino citizen nor a foreign national, does my fiancee (k1 visa holder) nees to attend CFO and PDOS?

But you are a foreign national ...  you are a U.S.  citizen.

Your fiancee is K-1 and must attend CFO-GCP
