NOA 2 Received

Hey all,

I received my NOA2 in the mail today. I am a bit confused about the wording. I have looked up other NOA2 online and the wording is much different. First off the NOA2 I received says that my petition was approved and forwarded to the listed consulate. The other NOA2's I have seen online say they are forwarded to the NVC. Also, there is no consulate listed on mine, so.........Where in the heck did they send my petition?

Is there anyone else that recently received their NOA2 and what did it say?

It can either say embassy/consulate or NVC on the NOA2. It makes no difference, your petition is sent to NVC first, just like for everyone else.

"Scandi" is correct. Your petition has been approved regardless if it has been sent to consulate or VISA Processing. Expect and prepare for Packet 3, which will arrive within the next 4 weeks
