RFE After interview?

Has anyone experienced having their interview, having the officer check that they suggest approval but then getting an RFE?

We had our interview on the 21st the officer who conducted the interview said she was going to approve it, and today I got a text saying an RFE was on the way. Seems unusual.

You can be RFE'd at any point in the process, sometimes even at the interview or beyond.

Sorry about your RFE but this is not at all unusual. There may be something that was reviewed and required further scrutiny after your interview was over. Keep positive though, things should be alright.

Yup, sometimes the IO themselves overlook tiny details and then do a further review. Again, your interview went smoothly so there shouldn't be any worries
