Ohio has a huge heroin, opiate and crystal meth problem, from the suburbs, farms and cities everywhere, US 23 is a huge pipeline north and passes north to south from Detroit to Kentucky. Sad fact of life

It's a horrible sight to see this, and with a child in the car. I hope they get treatment and that child is put somewhere safe.

Yeah it is quite a problem for the heartland right now. I know you live in Hawaii right and you probably don't see it alot. But I will admit that heroin/meth/pills are what is destroying a large part of the white community now across the US. My x-wife was on that ####### and doing crazy stuff, and the ONLY reason why I have custody of our two kids together was because she was in jail for pepper spraying and robbing a 79 year old woman for drug money.

Yeah, mostly the biggest problem here is the homeless population. The police actually are quite polite here. I've talked to a few and asked questions without issues. Back home, that would have gotten my plates and license ran just for GP. Sorry about your x. Glad your kids are safe.

Thank y'all for that, but the problem with my situation and in a number of situations is that the judge will leave children in a bad environment just to ensure that the children stay with the mother. I made 3 trips from CA to NC for emergency court hearings to try and get custody of the children, even after her first arrest for drugs and admission that she does heroin. But the judge still left the children with her all because I lived in CA and she in NC, but the judge gave me visitation rights for the summer. So I had the kids when she literally hit rock bottom luckily.
