How can abortion affect my medical exam

What will happen if i dont tell them? Will they find it out just by checking my private part?

No one here can advocate that you lie to them.

Can they tell by examining your cervix? Probably depends on how far along you were when you had the abortion and which type you've had, but even then, they'd just be guessing. There is some anecdotal evidence that d&cs will cause scaring, but women who've had miscarriages sometimes have that procedure as well. A later abortion might cause some dilation of the cervix that might be evident on later exam. Scientifically speaking, there should be no way to tell the difference between an early abortion done through medication and a miscarriage. Doctors don't have voodoo magic to be able to tell these things.

However, if you lie and they find out that you've lied that would be bad.

They'll look at you private parts both front and back. The look they give to you PP last no more than one second so no they probably will not see anything and the don't look down the tunnel. ;-) You need to relax and stop worrying about this. Your not going get denied if you tell the truth. Your going to realize how easy this exam is at the conclusion.

Thank you to all your response! Its really a great help!

☺️

Update:

Done with my medical test last Monday at St. Lukes, finally relieved yesterday when I got the result. Yes, I passed and vaccine completed. Doctors did not find anything about the abortion I did las Sept 1. It's right, they won't find out unless you still have HCG in your urine or blood, in my case I did pregnancy tests last week after 3 weeks of bleeding and finally got negative result, prior to that, my OB and ultra sound results confirmed that I don't have anymore retains and just wait for the HCG in my system to be totally gone (negative pregnancy test). Now I'm totally ok, relieved and thankful to God for not letting me down in spite of what I did (abortion) initially I planned to hold my medical and reschedule my interview but after 3 weeks of prayers to get negative HCG, I couldn't believe, I made it finally. I'm getting ready now for my interview next week. Good luck to me... With lots of prayers, I know I can make it, moving on now and need to forget nightmares from the past. Thanks for all the good advice here and good luck to each one facing same situation with me. Just keep praying...

Thats great to hear from you! Congratulations! In my case it was several years ago already and been having a regular menstruation now.

And yes its right, its time for us to move forward. Lets start by forgiving our selves, forget about the past and never do it again!

As i have told myself, im so glad that God gave a second chance so i promised myself not to do it again!

Congratulations again! Godbless?
