You are welcome. I have to remind myself to be calm because the unknown of waiting can, at time, drive me crazy. Right in the middle of this, my husband was relocated to Germany by his job. So now I'm stuck here with our 3 kids because of my pending U.S. citizenship application. I want it, badly, to be over so we can move and reunite with my husband. But dealing with USCIS for the past 11 years, I've learned that they are very unorganized and slow. We all will eventually become U.S. citizen soon! Good luck! :)

yea....USCIS can be very unpredictable. I am in a similar case. My Indian passport is expiring this December. I was hoping to get this done sooner -- otherwise, I cannot go anywhere if there's an emergency!

I hope USCIS hurries up.

I hope it will be soon for you! I'm in semi rush. But I don't have to get to Germany until after January and I prefer to stay here for now since there aren't 3 spots opened in the same school for my kids there. I'm not willing to send them to 3 separated school in a new country! :) So we'll wait here. :)

So I called USCIS last week and spoke to Level-2 officer. According to him I hadn’t gone for my Biometrics which was on the 19th of Oct 2016. He advised me to send in the biometrics receipt with the stamp (this is given to you after completing biometrics at the USCIS office) via fax, which I did. But then I called again to confirm they had received my Fax, apparently I was given the wrong information and the person from USCIS put in a service request. Today I got the call from L-2 officer telling me that right now my case is in NBC and my biometrics has been received and is under review by the concerned department. So according to him everything is going as per schedule and there is no need to panic. Sigh!

Look at heatgun, myself, Canadian bacon,and tridoral. All from Phoenix lockbox, and all got in line EXACTLY one month before our 3 year GC anniversary (which is the minimum to be citizenship eligibile).

Look at heatgun, myself, Canadian bacon,and tridoral. All from Phoenix lockbox, and all got in line EXACTLY one month before our 3 year GC anniversary (which is the minimum to be citizenship eligibile).

I'm starting to wonder if there is any logic to be found because in a previous month's forum they were saying how older GC holders were getting processed quicker. I'm a ten year club member and moving at regular pace. I think random workers grab random piles and work at their pace, some faster, some slower. Also maybe 10 years of background takes longer than 3... who knows eh! Lol

Just happy to see movement though! This week's been good!!

And, it's especially encouraging that @Tridorala applied under the 5 year rule it seems, and also had his status updated EXACTLY 1 month before his 5 year anniversary date. I also applied under the 5 year rule, and my GC anniversary is 12/11/2011 and so I'm HOPING to be in line on Nov 11 which is next Friday. Now let's hope there's no hiccups with my FBI background check - fingers crossed and all that until next Friday. :clock:
