sorry to bring this topic again

but from what i have seen many went through healthcare.gov

i did the same yesterday for my wife (28) who recently moved to the US

the monthly premium starts at around $180 and goes all the way to $400

its a bit expensive for me

can anyone suggest any other healthcare insurance

we live in orlando ,FL

Did you get your healthcare insurance from a marketplace or from work? My husband got his from a Marketplace governed by the State, he was paying $398.00 before and when we got married, it went down to $340.00 due to him availing of the advanced tax returns for me not having work yet. Check your state or marketplace if they can provide a list of healthcare insurance that will offer you the lowest amount possible for both of you, it will usually go up. But take advantage of the tax returns.

09.21.2016 --- Biometrics Letter Received

10.05.2016 --- Biometrics Appointment

11.18.2016 --- Combo Card Delivered

11.25.2016 --- Green Card/I-485 Approved (No interview)

12.02.2016 --- Received NOA2 for I-485

12.02.2016 --- GC received

 

I-90 Timeline (USCIS Error: 10 Year GC given instead of 2 Years)

12.05.2016 --- I-90 Packet Sent to Phoenix

12.08.2016 --- I-90 Packet Received by USCIS

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Healthcare is expensive in the USA. I pay over $300/month for me and my wife and that is discounted from my job. $180 a month sounds decent but keep looking for cheaper alternatives.
