On May 1, 2018, your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXXX, was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

That is the same message I recieved online. However, I then was mailed a letter saying my case was sent to the National Benefits Center. I did NOT file the N-400.

Hey guys, i'm a September 2016 filer, applied for N400 in September 2017, had combined interviews on April 10, 2018. IO approved i751 first (after interviewing my spouse for few minutes) then proceed with N400 and got recommended for approval. And told me to wait 2 weeks for Oath letter. 

 

A week after my i751 case got transferred to another office (makes no sense, since my file was on IO desk and gave me all pictures and documents from the application, saying no need for it anymore since approved) it was transferred to NBC Lee's summit MO office.

2 weeks after i receive another letter saying Congratulations your i751 application is approved and to wait for Green card ! ! 

 

So what happened with my N400?

 

Can anyone shed some light on whats goin on here, please advice, thank you in advance.

Joint filer. My spouse is the petitioner, and I'm the U.S. citizen.

 

I received the RFE because of incomplete bank statements and my spouse wasn't working at the time (still in graduate school), and we didn't have many shared assets besides a bank account.

 

In response to the RFE, I submitted all complete bank statements for the past 3 years, joint care/health insurance, apartments leases, cards mailed to us from friends, pictures of us through the previous years, insurance documents showing each other as the beneficiaries, and other various billing statements that listed both our names. I called today and the representative would not transfer me to tier 2. She told me that my case was overdue for a decision and that all I-751s now require interviews, even though there seems to be lots of conflicting info on this form about whether that is correct.  She also said that I should schedule an infopass appointment and tell them I'm leaving for a vacation and ask them not to schedule the interview while I'm gone. I told her that that is what Tier 2 is for and to transfer me, and she was persistent that they were closed for the day, and to call earlier in the day, though at the beginning of the phone call she said she wouldn't transfer me until she tried to help me first...

Yeah i was wondering because a lot of people on here seem to get rfe and then approved but my lawyer thinks that most people require an interview. Do you know how long you have to wait to be scheduled one? Im wondering if there has been a sudden change in policy.

That’s what I’ve been told today by tier 2 about new policy. She said all cases now are getting transferred to local offices but interview is on case to case basis. I don’t know what to believe at this point

No I have not heard back ever since I filled in December 2016 and just trying to figure out whereabouts of my file after conflicting info.

No idea. I read somewhere that interviews scheduled in Houston, TX can take up to 2 additional years once transferred to a local office since there are so many people being scheduled for interviews, and since I-751 isn't high on the priority list. I hope that information is wrong.  I'm expecting at least a two month delay between the transfer to the local office and the interview being scheduled (if one is scheduled at all).  I'm just as confused as everyone else. Hopefully I'll get a surprise approval and no interview.

im confused, is it still possible to get approved without interview even though you have been requested one? this is a nightmare sorry you have to go through this

99% of the people who got the update of case transferred were not transferred at all. It was some glitch at the system when they activated the original WAC numbers. I got to updates about my case being transferred but when I went to get my second stamp the agent told me that my case is still in CSC and its been there since day one. He said that a lot of people ask him that and he doesn’t know why people got this update. I filled for inquiry and 10 dats later I got approved. Don’t listen to Tier 1 agents. They will tell you general info which is not really relevant. If you go back in the forum and track the other people timeline it will be more helpful to you then Tier 1 agent or a lawer. Just saying 😄 And the most accurate place to check your status is the dhs website

I had same exactly experience with those “transfers” back in February and March. I also got info pass and service request both confirming the case is at CSC and haven’t gone nowhere. But today’s conversation with Tier 2 totally swiped me out of my feet for a minute, “new policy” and “new requirement to send all cases from cervice center to local offices to get reviewed” sounded like a couple of more extra years of waiting sentence ... 

I saw you got approved recently, have your status ever changed from the glitchy transfers prior approval?

Only at the dhs website. And only the original WAC number. The other case status website still says case was received in 2016 for one of the WAC numbers and case transferred to local office in March for the other WAC number. By the way I got an email today responding to my inquiry. It’s something like...we received your inquiry on 4/17/2018 but it’s weird that you haven’t gotten your approval letter yet which we send it to you today on 4/30/2018 😂😂😂😂😂  This system is so screwed I can’t even describe my feelings about it without using inappropriate language

OMG! Something awesome has happened that I was preparing to wait another 6 months for. 
My Citizenship interview has been scheduled. Status updated today. Waiting for hard-copy for interview date. I'm ready for combined ROC and N-400. 
I'm so ready for this to all be over!!
