Hi everyone! My case was received today at nvc but still no case number. Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to get a case number? Just an update pd 9/26/16, noa 2 3/30/17, sent to nvc 4/6/17 and received at nvc 4/13/17.

They just got this at NVC today. I would say try first thing Monday morning. Not sure if they work tomorrow. Good Friday, but you should be able to obtain your case number hopefully sometime next week. You will have to call them. Good luck!

I understand how frustrating the whole process could be. Please just be patient....... " FYI" The whole NVC process would take around 11 weeks from when you send in everything they requested from you and all fees paid. 

Still waiting too. Just hang tight, and all would be well before you know it :)

  • 05-17-2023:  USCIS received RFE packet
  • 05-19-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “New Card is Being Produced" 
  • 05-22-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “Case Was Approved" 
  • 05-24-2023:  USCIS case status updated to reflect new Green Card was mailed
  • 05-25-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office"

Yes I think they open tomorrow since is not a federal holiday. I will call back tomorrow and everyday until i get the case number. 🙈😁

they said the same thing to us too but it took 3days to get our case number actually. to call everyday or two is a good idea.
