Go to the USCIS web site https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp and register. Then add your case by entering the receipt # you got on your NOA1. It will have a date of when it was last updated and every time this date changes, it means it was touched by VSC. :)

I guess since it was received by them March 20 and they sent me the receipt number that was the original contact. Now the date next to our file is March 23, so that is a touch right? Anyone?

Yes that's the last touch on your file! Goodluck :dance::dance::dance::dance:

No you cannot watch it while it's with NVC but you can call NVC regarding the status and they can tell you if it's been sent to the embassy and I think you will get an email or so but am sure you can call them and get your case # from them and when it gets to the embassy!

Looking at the recent NOA2 timings, I am thinking abt preparing the packet that has to be sent to my fiancee. I looked at the I-134 form and it has expiry date of 4/30/07. Does that mean that we would need to wait for the new form even though we might get NOA2 in next couple of weeks? I know that this form would be needed for packet 3 which might be in early may (based on past timings) but than it would have been obselete. Am I correct or just thinking too much too far ahead in this process? :-)

Any thoughts on this?

I too am also preparing forms- and all that is available for the I134 is the 4-30-2007 expiration form. I keep looking for a new version, but if I don't find it by the 15/April (target date to send papers DHL to my fiance), I will just use this.

I did notice on the USCIS website where forms are, that a lot of times when a newer version of a form is out, they often say previous versions still accepted.

I'm sure that will be the case with the I134.

Good luck!
