I-130 Petition was transferred to another USCIS office on August 25, 2016 what do this mean?

Has anyone else received the same notice? Do anyone know what this mean or the reason for the transfer? It states that I will receive a notice through the mail for the reason and to follow the instructions in the notice. I'm just curious; is this an approval notice? Thank you for all that respond.

No this is not an approval notice. Sometimes they transfer to a local office and sometimes to another service center to lessen work load.

It means your I-130 will be approved very soon! Looking at your timeline, your estimated NOA2 date is just around the corner, two weeks-ish (>September 12-ish), and as I was browsing through timelines of other members, I saw similar situations where the petition was transferred from Nebraska to another service center and it was processed within two weeks!

I was transferred July 13th and still not approved. 2 weeks shy of 5 months now (April 19th). Don't forget to update your timeline when you find out where you were transferred to.

Received our transfer notice today. We were transfered to Texas. Reason given was record shows Texas service center has jurisdiction over case. Nevertheless, hoping for an approval soon. Approaching 5 month mark.
