US citizen sponsoring parents and sibling

Hello everyone:

I would to ask for some input on sponsoring my parents and sibling. I am a US citizen. My sister is 24 years old and is currently in the US under a student visa. My parents are currently outside the US.

When I sponsor my parents, should I include her with my parents (file 3 forms I-130)? Does it slow down the processing for my parents? Would they process my parents first then my sibling?

Three separate petitions. For your parents it will take about a year from start to finish. For your sister, depending on where she is from, it will take anywhere between 13 and 24 years (at the current processing speeds- these are slowing down so be prepared for something closer to 20 to 40 years, depending on her nationality).

Your sister could have more than one petition, for example petition for your parents and sister now, and then when your parents arrive as long as she is not married they can also petition her

This way there is a fall back petition and you can of course go with whatever petition is processed the fastest
