Hello All...Sooo I question which is extremely important please help!

I am filing for my husband Petition to Remove Conditions I751. I am the petitioner, he came to the US on a K1 visa, I was able to file on my own with the help of this website which I love!

I have sent the I-751 but they returned the package because of "without proper signature". Here is what the letter says:

" If you selected block "a" in part 3, the signature of you and your spouse are required. You, the conditional resident listed on page 1, should sign on page 7, and your spouse listed on page 3, should sign on page 8".

Here is the CONFUSION: When I go to page 7 to sign it is asking for the PETITIONER'S signature, which is me. And page 8 is asking for "spouse or individual's signature" which I think is also me?

For those who have filed please help me in figuring out this confusion. I have to return the package properly signed.

For the I-751 the conditional resident is the petitioner not you.

The petitioner is the conditional resident removing conditions.

The spouse is the USC spouse, in this case, you.

It's his paperwork, you aren't filing for him. He's is filing......you aren't petitioning to remove your conditions. He is petitioning to remove his conditions.......

Your husband is removing his condition. He is the petitioner. He is filling the form (I751). He signs on page 7. You are signing on page 8 as the spouse.
