How do you remove friends on VJ

I have collected 2 friends that I have no clue how they came about, they just suddenly appeared on my profile. Don't have anything against them I just don't know who they are!

Is there a quick way to remove them? Also if someone wanted to be a friend of mine would I not need to sanction it first or is it an automatic thing?

Go to the very top right hand corner of VJ page, you will see your 'gpiper' (profile name, next to the 'Sign Out').

Click on your profile name, there will be a pop-up display:

My Profile My Setting

My Content Content | Follow

Manage Friend Manage Ignore Prefs

Personal Messenger My Timeline

Click on the 'Manage Friend', from there you can delete the friend.

If you go to the 'My Setting' tab, there is a option to choose

[Allow me to approve members before they're added as a friend].
