Hello everyone,

quick question, I am about to send "I-864ez" AOS and Supporting Documents package very soon. I am sending last 3 years of IRS transcripts, 3 years of W2's, employment letter, 6 months of pay-stubs .... and wondering If I SHOULD "send social security earnings statement" and "bank statements" just to be safe to avoid RFE.

Plus my status changed from permanent resident to citizen and I emailed my certificate of naturalization to nvc and they updated the case from F2A to IR-1 ..... now should I send I copy of my certificate with this package?

Just wanted your opinion on if sending extra unnecessary/ not applicable papers will hurt anything?

Thanks.

It won't hurt to send any of the things you mentioned.

Yes send copies of bank statements showing social security deposits.I sent all my social sec.1099s an income verification letter orginial.

Sorry, I guess I didn't elaborate the situation very well. I don't get anything from social security, I make enough through my job. I thought of sending in the bank statements to aid the fact that I have steady income and established accounts.

While you definitely can send your bank statements, not sending them will definitely not result in the RFE. Your 3 years Tax transcripts defines your financial health over the years and 6 months pay stubs defines your steady income for the current year.

Anyway, in case of any doubt, send it all out.

You don't get anything from Social Security but when you log in online to SsI.gov you get your total social security tax paid / disability benefit statement ( if you were to disable today ) and your quarters you earn. They need that statement which you can get it easily online.

True, I got that statement and I wasn't sure if I should send it or hold on to it. Now after reading all the responses I am going to send that in too :)

It is not needed. When you qualify easily with income, don't clutter the package with things that are not meaningful.

Well in that case I shouldn't send my Certificate of Naturalization either. I mean I already got the priority changed to IR-1 from F-2A plus NVC's website states "If you completed Form I-864 as a joint sponsor" which I didn't so I don't need to send the certificate either.

One last thing guys ..... do I need to include the "payment receipts" and "Welcome letter" with the documents or the BAR CODE SHEET will be enough ?

I filled i-864EZ and got case complete. Include bar coded Cover sheet, AOS form signed, IRS transcripts for 3 years, recent employment letter and pay stub for 6 months. I also sent in Naturalization copy just in case. No need to send social security statement and bank statements. Good luck!

so my document checklist doesn't ask for any beneficiary pictures but I read on this forum on multiple posts that people sent them ?

Is it necessary or not ?

No pictures(passport photos) required to NVC. The beneficiary is required to bring the PP photos during the interview.
