Sorry to hear that...But some got approved fast some don't...

So just be patient, don't frustrated while others move to next steps...

When you get yours NOA2, you might call NVC everyday....Because this step get our loves being together closer..

Hey, I finally received my case, but did you have this message when checking your status on ceac?

"

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask."

I was hoping it was a generic message because the NVC does not schedule interviews for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

July 7th, 2016 – Engaged

September 1st, 2016- I-129F Sent to Lockbox Facility in Lewisville

September 6th, 2016- NOA1

- No RFE’s -

October 3rd, 2016- NOA 2 (Via USCIS application)

- Hardcopy came a week and a half after –

October 27th, 2016- NVC received case (after many weeks of calling)

October 28, 2016- Case was assigned a number

November 4th, 2016- Case left NVC for Bosnia and Herzegovina

( According to DHL website tracking my case will be received by the consulate on November 7th,2016)

November 7th, 2016- Interview (APPROVED)

November 22nd, 2016- POE: Salt Lake City. WE ARE FINALLY TOGETHER.

Well, it's still illegal to get married on a tourist visa as far as i know, regardless what country you come from... so I'd rather do it the right way

Not sure. I called this morning and nothing. My NOA2 date is the 7th, and those who are making progress are 3rd/4th. I am probably going to call next on Monday.

Man, I hated that stupid message!!! Spent hours fretting over where my invoice number would be when i didn't have to @_@

I got the physical NVC notice. Packet is in Belgrade.

Only thing left to do is wait for the embassy to send her the letter of the interview date and fill out DS-160 and financial affidavit.

Looks like this NVC is another headache!! I'm not even thinking of having my number this week since in only got approved last Friday...

it really is im just glad this will be the last annoying step , every other step seems faster
