@harry13 what is the validilty for pcc police clearaance certificate 1 year or 6 months her passport is alredy in my name addded on their so that will be smooth for me and i just want to know if i get the pcc today how long will that work for and validity for thanks guys ap[reciated and lets do this smooth process of the nvc with all togherher

PCC is valid for one year. Yes get an appiontment with your local passport office for PCC. If you spouse have every stayed in foreign country for more than one year after turning 16, than PCC is also required from that foreign country. It will go smooth just read instruction and double check all information that you are providing.

What do you mean how often? Truth be told they don;t update it at all. The lil secret of AOS turning from PAID to N/A was found by a VJ member over a year ad half ago or so and that's how many find out they have case complete and they call in. That's all you can do is keep an eye on that AOS fee.

EP people this doesn't apply to you. Sorry.

I was just wondering if N/A showed up once a day or whenever they happened to enter it :)

Hi All,

Just wanted to ask out of curiosity, what is the requirement to be able to expedite the process? My case is still with NVC, 25 days since scan date. I'm planning to wait it out till its completed ; but if I can once done, request for an earlier interview date if that is possible?

Thank you :)

The way NVC schedules is first come, first served; so the earlier you get a CC, the earlier your interview date. You can, however, try to reschedule your interview on the ustraveldocs website for an earlier date once your CEAC status says "READY."

Oh no, how unfortunate! Sorry to hear that :( Might as well send in the NBI clearance as soon as you can...

Well my wifes case needs her nbi clearance but on a positive note my daughters case is cc :)

That's good... I'm pretty sure you can get your wife's case expedited once they receive and review her NBI clearance so that their cases will interview at the same time. So the faster you get your wife's NBI clearance to NVC the better!

Petition got approved August 9, called NVC an hour ago, case not received yet. This is just so frustrating since as what I've observed, most of you guys here only took a week to get a confirmation that your cases were received. :(
