I took my medical exam on 2016.1.29

Medical exam expiration date: 2016.7.23

And the interview took place on 2016.4.8

K1 issued: 2016.4.18

K1 expiration date: 2016.10.12

It seems to me that the expiration date for my K1 is 6 months from its issue date, and I didn't think too much of it and have then planned on going to U.S. at the beginning of October....

Until just now... I just noticed that many people talked about the “expiration date of the medical exam"

Does that mean I have to enter U.S. before my medical expiration date, which is this month!!!!!?

With that being said...I really need some insightful answer!

Thank you very much!

One thing to keep in mind though is that your medical has to be less than 1 year old when you apply for AOS. You would want to make sure to file your paperwork before next January 29th so you don't have to go to a civil surgeon for a new medical.
