Hello there. We have made good progress but we are stuck a little

NVC said Manila embassy mailed packet 3 May 27th. Should we continue to wait? I got an email requesting to schedule an interview as well. We have not done the Medical exam yet.

What should be my steps here?

I found this site through a member on this forum. http://visaconnection-philippines.com/ Is this good info?

Thanks

Kyle

Greenbaum, probably one of the leading authorities of information here on VJ for the Philippines to USA Visa Process has graciously created this website that should help.

http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa

I would also suggest getting in contact with him, and he will most likely have the answer you are looking for.

Thanks so much Hank.

I hope I didn't waist too much time and my 129 approval dosent expire. I think it expires August. You think I'll be ok?

I will have my fiancée go pay the fee tomorrow with the deposit slip you had on that site

Your petition won't expire, USEM will automatically extend it for up to a year. You're fine.

Is it ok if her sister goes by and make the payment. Her sister is in a city where they have that bank

There is nothing stating she can't. Have her print out the deposit slip for payment to take to BPI. Your fiancee will need that receipt of payment to bring to the embassy for the interview (make a copy for your records also).

Hank one more question. When we make the payment will we have a unique receipt number that we use to register for interview?

Yes. A deposit receipt has to be printed out (from the website I gave you) : http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/pmisdepositslip.htm?amount=265&country=philippines

Take that receipt and payment to BPI....

- Cash payment at any Bank of the Philippine Island (BPI) branch. Please note that beginning September 3, 2012, K (fiancé(e) and K3) visa applicants are required to present a U.S. visa application deposit slip to pay the K visa fee. Before going to the bank, K (fiancée and K3) visa applicants must print the applicable U.S. visa application deposit slip , which can be downloaded from the online appointment website: http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-paymentinfo.asp, and take it to the bank to pay the fee.

There is an expiration date on the deposit slip. Bank agents will not accept payments based on expired deposit slips. Upon payment, the bank will issue a receipt. This receipt cannot be replaced. Applicants will not be able to schedule an appointment without the receipt number.

Your fiancee will NEED the receipt from BPI!

Take that receipt and payment to BPI

Hi all,

May I please ask your advise concerning our case. Our case is now ready as per CEAC. I have a son who was declared in the I-129F of my petitioner who is also his biological father. I am taking Hank's advise to proceed with processing without waiting for the eligibility letter. I am about to pay our visa fee but I was told by the agent who is helping us with our requirements that I only need to pay one visa fee since was son was not applied as K2 but rather as derivative of my case. Hope to hear your input guyz!

I have just registered in this portal and a newbie.

Thanks!

If you got an email saying you can go ahead and schedule the interview, go ahead and do it...no need to wait for the packet in the mail. Then applicant can have her medical exam, Saint Luke's website should have a list of document you can bring as proof ( it's either a copy of that email or the interview appointment confirmation...not sure which of the two, sorry) good luck!
