I am just now sending off my I-129F,, but I want to get my filipina fiancee started on any documentation that she must obtain prior to the interview (Stuff SHE must get, not stuff I must send to her).

I remember reading somewhere about police reports, birth certificates, banks/property, old medical records, etc....

But I see nothing about this in the K1 guide (http://www.visajourn...content/k1guide)....

Is there some official list somewhere I can read?

Much of what she must submit will have to be submitted to the Embassy directly after the embassy obtains the case from NVC. This is unfortunately months down the road from where you are. There is no harm in having her determine how she'd go about getting that information when the embassy requests it but many of the documents may not pass thru her hands on the way to the embassy so she'll have to wait for Packet 4 from embassy. Things she will need in general... CENOMAR, Police clearances from any overseas countries she's lived/worked. Birth Certificates medical clearance. Also unique to the Philippines is the Philippines Gov. exit requirement known as CFO that your wife to be will be required to complete. That has some additional requirements as well such as the possibility of letters/advice from Parents if your wife to be is less than 25 years of age.. If your future wife is working and living ourside the Philippines then as you know you may choose to file at the consulate where she resides. That could be easier/harder depending on circumstances. Hope you front loaded your application to make her interview easier. Best of luck to you and your future wife!!!

everything mentioned in the link above with completed medical

I've had bad experience in Ukraine and have read on this forum of much more similar situations in Philippines. During X-ray doctors have had suspicion of TB because of some spot on my lungs and I've needed to wait 90days for confirmation of negative result on sputum test.

So consider setting an appointment with their medical when NVC will send package to their embassy in Philippines.

Optional but she might want whole copy of K-1 package, just in case, with additional proofs of relationships since the time you've sent initial package (chat logs, recent pics together if you consider visiting her soon during the process, etc.)

Police records certificate (not sure if needed but it was mentioned in some of guides)

Also she will want to have birth certificate translated to english to be prepared in advance for AOS process

Oh, what a day, what a lovely day!

You do NOT want to follow any guide on VJ for the actual visa process for the Philippines.

You can follow the flashing arrow below for details on the K-1 process in Manila.

And for sure follow the embassy instructions letter - link to it within the link below under the K-1 USEM link

Make this forum your home for questions regarding the visa process in the Philippines http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Just remember for the police clearance from the Philippines it needs to be the National Police Clearance and NOT a local one. Also has she lived/worked any place else? Does she have a passport?
