I am about to submit my wife's aos. She did her medical in Juarez,MX for K-1,she only received the sealed envelope that was given to the consulate officer. I know Mexico does a good job with immunization, she finished university last year so I know she had to have them to attend school.

Do we still need to file the medical form with aos? I know they should have a copy in her original file, if we are RFE and we file within the 90 day time period, ( we are married), how will it affect her status?

The main concern is the MMR and the possibility of her being pregnant, should we only get other shots needed and submit a letter with our concerns with medical?

Does she have a copy of the ds3025 from her medical that shows completion of the vaccination requirements? Most just send that with the AOS package as an extra confirmation.

In any case, she would only have to prove to be civil surgeon that she has had the required vaccines in the past - she does not have to retake the vaccines.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

No,we didn't know about ds3025 form, she didn't receive any documentation for herself, I have kept researching on VJ, my main concern is her status if we send in and get a RFE, I have seen on older posts the only requirement for k-1 is marriage within 90 days, I know others have filed after the 90 day limit, but still concerned. She had her medical done in January of this year. We will probably talk to the civil surgeon ask for additional documentation and get the other vaccinations wait on mmr.

But still would like answer on her status, if we file within 90 days and RFE for lack of all vaccines

Juarez most likely will not give vaccinations or provide a DS-3025. The medical will be valid for a year, but you will need to see a civil surgeon to get the vaccinations done. Some people get a useless blank DS-3025. See this post > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/551080-immunizations-ds-3025-or-i-693/

You may have to call around to find a civil surgeon that will do the vaccinations only. There is a long going thread here on VJ to help with finding one > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/231026-civil-surgeons-who-dont-rip-you-off/page-16

You don't even have to file for AOS within 90 days, you just have to marry within 90 days of entry. Once you file for AOS, then you are in a new period of authorized stay.

The CDC recommends avoiding becoming pregnant for a certain amount of time (I believe it's one or two months) after receiving the MMR vaccine. So, you could possibly be medically exempt from that vaccine, if you have proof of pregnancy (you mentioned it's a possibility). It's safe to get the MMR vaccine immediately after childbirth.

But if your fiance already had the MMR vaccine and has proof of it, it shouldn't be a problem.

I didn't include a medical form with my AOS and we didn't get an RFE for it. At the interview we were asked about it and I just gave him my DS-3025 that I got from doing the medical for K-1 and that was sufficient.

in my country Dr. told me that was not necessary at that time vaccines and not gave me any form ds3025 and now for adjustment need I transcribe vaccines put me before you get to use

If your vaccines are not up to date, you'll need to go see the doctor so he can give you the vaccines and fill out the i693.
