I am confused about the best way to go in order to bring my fiancee to the usa. If i file a K1 fiancee visa, I am subject to seeking a waiver of restrictions of IMBRA. I have previously file 4 K1 petitions, and married 2 of them. 2 i cancelled because i found out the ladies were not being truthful. I am thinking that the preferable way to go is to marry in the Philippines and file a spousal visa. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Wow, sounds like you have a small business going. Your fiancée or wife will definitively be subject to some enhanced scrutiny at her interview. Could you let us know the timelines for all your petitions and lengths of your marriages? Were all the women from the Phillipines? How did you meet them? What is the age gap between you and your current fiancée?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

4 previous petitions and another one in the works will definitely be difficult for your current fiance regardless if you file a spouse or fiance petition.

Were all the women from the same country? The 2 that you married and brought to the U.S. what is their current statuses? Will their status be counted in the A.O.S. for your current girl?

Good luck

***** Moving from K1 fiance visa to What Visa do I Need? forum *****

I would recommend a CR-1 spousal visa, as it shows a certain comittment, and you will have an uphill struggle due to 4 previous petitions, and getting immigration benefits for 2 of them. To decrease the importance of the red flags of previous petitions, take your time- visit several times before you marry, then a couple more times before you file the petition.

I have to agree with Penguin, CR-1 is the way to go and expect to be scrutinized and questioned. If all previous 4 were from the same country, that CO is going to be scratching his/her head for sure. You have to do lost of hard work and many visits to convince the CO your marriage this time is genuine. 5th time is a charm??? Maybe but you are stretching it to the limit and beyond!!
