Hi Everyone! We are now completing the financial and support documents to be send to NVC. Can you enlighten us if when can we use I-864ez form?My USC spouse only applied for my greencard although we already have 1 kid we decided not to include her on the petition since its more economical. There are 3 conditions on i-864ez which we assume we met. My spouse income wont reach the minimum requirement but we can send evidence of income as per the website.I would appreciate all your feedback :)

If your spouse income wont reach the minimum requirement don't you need to look for a joint sponsor in which case you need to use i-864?

We are having a hard time looking for a Joint sponsor :( I have read online that they are giving consideration for i-864ez..so we'll give it a shot.. Bad thing though is we can't file for our kid within 6 months :(

I864 ez is just a simple version of i864 in terms of filling information, financial requirements remain the same. I don't see why they would easy on minimum requirement for i-864ez. You can still send it but i would expect a new checklist from NVC asking for joint sponsor.

I'm a little confused.

You have a child, but you're not including the child in the application process, based on it being more "economical"? Is your child dependent on you? How old are they?

They won't be immigrating with you?

What I miss most about Canada, in no particular order:

My family!

My friends!

KD!

Hawkins Cheezies!

Poutine!

Lays Ketchup Chips!

What I don't miss:

-40 degree weather
