We got em'!!!!!!

Well... we finally received the APs for my husband and my stepsons! They arrived late Saturday afternoon! Too late for the long weekend travel but still in our hands! They were delivered to the wrong house on the wrong street! That's kind of scary! The person who they were delivered to brought them over in person. That was nice...better than "return to sender"!

Anyway, in my husbands online portfolio with USCIS, stepson one was approved on May 18th, stepson two was approved on May 21st, and my husband's AP case status STILL says "received and pending" as of this morning. They were all mailed on the 23rd and received on the 26th. Just goes to show that you cant always go by the case status updates as "up to date"!

This is sure a load off of our shoulders! After all the toll free calls, expedite requests and infopass appts, we'll be taking the kids to Canada next weekend! WOOHOO!

Total time for APs from NOA to delivery... 55 days!

Now for the interview which was "cancelled", but based on VJ advice we will still attend June 27th.

You know, talking of AP's I had a BAD dream last night,I dreamed I went back to England but had no AP - but its like I had just forgot bout it, and then we panicked and there was talk of the repciept being enough, etc etc.

Oh, it was funny.

We got an email on 5/25 stating that the AP was approved! Both the AP and EAD were touched on the 25th so hopefully the EAD will follow shortly. The I-485 was last touched on 5/17.

You have to sleep to dream! My husband has only had about 2 1/2 to 3 hours per night since the ex's lawyers started threats of contempt of court for not bringing the kids to visit! Last night he slept over 10 hours! He is soooo relieved!

He already put a copy of the APs in his car so he wont forget them next week!

Her lawyers have GOT to understand that they can't come untill they have their returning papers!

Well everyone Neil received his employment card in the mail on Saturday. Was a nice surprise since we weren't expecting it so soon. No touches on AOS yet. I guess we have a few more days before it has been a month that it's been at CSC. Neil plans on taking his EAD to the Social Security office tomorrow and having them take the restrictions off of his social security card. Also, he received his tax rebate from the UK (after only 4 weeks)! We

had quite a good week last week. The cafe opens tomorrow and Neil will start working next Monday so we will be super busy but I will update everyone when I get a chance! Good luck everyone!!!!

My interview's on July 11, just received the letter

Here is a question:

did you all receive an extra sheet of paper with the letter reminding to bring any police/court records if ''you have ever been arrested or detained by any law enforcement officers for any reason" I would hate to think I was singled out for such a reminder (not that there is any reason for that, of course )

ok, I think I sent the package to the wrong place...I live in ohio and sent my aos to nebraska...its not a big deal because we already got the biometrics appt letter. The concern is, we realized we didnt put the name/a# or anything on her photos. SOOOOO, to try to prevent a later delay, we wanted to send more photos with this information and prevent the RFE. This leads me to wondering where I send this package? To chicago? or to the office I originally sent it to....any ideas? I could have swore I was SUPPOSED to send it to nebraska to start with, but when looking after the fact, that was for employment based ones. Where chicago was for family based ones (btw this was an aos based on a k1)...any ideas?

I got the same extra sheet of paper about any prior arrests, etc., iliYana.

Actually I don't believe that that restriction can be removed until you have your green card.

And IliYana... I got that same letter too.

Also got my green card today!!! woohoo so exciting I was out at job interviews today and I'll go to 2 more tomorrow!! =D So excited about that. Now I just need to buy myself another car.

Still no "pending at CSC" e-mail. It's been 44 days. EAD is of most importance now, so I'm not too worried about it. Yet.

I'm with ya! I did get an email saying they approved my AP, so now I just need the EAD so I can use my AP. lol..I 'm sure they will approve ours anytime now. All the best!

We got an e-mail last night saying his AP was approved. Don't know about touches because we are locked out and the temp password they sent didn't work. For my sanity I have decided to not try and fix it.
