Update for me: I received my actual green card this past Saturday, 6/23.

The dates are wrong! Though I had just been approved on 6/6/07, the card says that I have been a "resident since 6/6/06!" The expiry date is wrong as well -- instead of 6/6/09, it reads 6/6/08!

Ack! I now have to file a form I-90 and relinquish my incorrect card! Then I need to schedule an InfoPass to get an I-551 stamp on my passport! :-(

Happy to be approved but now there's more USCIS paperwork drama and waiting... :crying:

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! :-(

Good luck to the rest still waiting!

Still here. My husband hasn't even received his EAD yet. :\ We have an Infopass appointment Tuesday to request interim EAD because there's no way he's getting it in the next 4 days.

The problem we're having is that they, on their own accord, messed up our address. We're afraid that if they do order production of his Green Card that they'll send it to the same abyss that his EAD went. I hate to say it, but I hope he's not approved before the Infopass appointment! Hopefully they can straighten out our address because the information line is useless (as usual).

it's such a big waiting game. after you file the applications, you wait for receipt notice; then you wait for the biometrics; then you wait for any touches; and finally when you receive the approval/card production notice, you still have to wait for the actual card to get to you. and of course, after all that.. we know that we have to wait yet again before we can apply to lift conditions; then the longest (and hopefully last) wait of all-- applying for citizenship.

phew!

good luck to us all! ;)

Senator Durbin's office responded to our inquiry and have a staff member on our case. My husband has his infopass appointment on Tuesday where he will inquire about our address and getting an interim EAD, so senatorial assistance isn't really needed anymore. Hopefully. :| Creel has the same timeline as we do, so we should have had it 3 weeks ago. Gah. At least we don't have too much longer to wait.

Congratulations on all the approvals!

On June 29, 2007, the post office returned our last notice as undeliverable. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update the mailing address.

:| Maybe if you wouldn't have messed up our address, it would have been received! At least we know what happened to it and hopefully the Infopass appointment will set our address straight. Idiots.
