Hello, I am hoping there is someone from the USA currently in the Philippines who might be able to pick me up a couple of smart nano size roaming sims and activate them before leaving the Philippines. I will pay you for the sims, load and shipping.

This is the only way I can contact my parents in the Philippines. For some reason my sim stopped working after cutting it down to put into my samsung s6. Now my family has no way to text me here in the USA since if is so expensive to text a USA number from the Philippines.

If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

I hope you find someone to do that for you. I forgot to buy that SIM last trip, it is on my list for when we are there in November.

That is related to a visa how?

This is the Philippines forum, posts do not have to relate to visas only.

You have to register the Roaming Sim in the Phillipines for it to work in the USA. Buying any sim off of Amazon or anywhere online would not work here. It has to be registered in the Philippines for the Roaming service to work.

If there is anyone currently in the Philippines that can help me with this problem please email me. I am not looking for alternative ways to contact my family. I am needing a SMART nano Roaming sim so they can text me unlimited here in the USA. The sims are only like 30 - 40 peso. But it needs to be loaded 100 peso then needs to be activated and registered to Roaming while still in the Philippines.. Then it will work here in the USA. I will reimburse you for everything. I can even load the sim from online if you wish.

SMART nano Roaming sim

I will ask my fiancee to purchase and activate it.

(We will happily help with this!)

It is very likely that she arrives within a week or so, because CEAC says "issued" !!! And she has CFO certificate. So we are a text and a few taxi rides away from departure.

yes they are great. You have to make sure you register them BEFORE you leave the Philippines.

No you DO NOT have to register it in the Philippines for it to be a roaming sim. I can go down to Glendale, CA right now and buy a roaming sim for my wife's family to text her unlimited. My wife actually did that about year ago because her roaming sim from the Philippines stopped working, so we had to go pick up a sim for her to use.

If you need it that bad then I can get one for you this week and send it out to you.
