Hey guys! I belong to the F2A category from India. My PD is 17 April 2015. I was wondering about the effects of retrogression in F4 category on the F2A category? From the past 2 months it has only moved 10 days and 7 days respectively, which is pretty bad. Can anyone give me a rough idea for the upcoming months now that the USCIS is saying that, and I quote, "The increased level of applicant demand being received has necessitated retrogression of the June final action date, in an effort to hold number use within the overall India Family-sponsored annual limit. This date is not expected to advance prior to the end of the fiscal year. " This basically means that the F4 category will stop progressing from the next months, right? Will this help the F2A category to move forward at a nice pace? And yes, I know that these things are hard to predict but I just want a rough idea.

Separate categories.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I read that.

Might suggest other categories are also like to be over subscribed and retrogress if that is what you mean.

Correct, the PD wil most likely not move very much or at all from the June 2016 VB until the start of the next fiscal year on October 2016. Will this help the F2A category to move forward at a nice pace? No because there is no relationship between the two categories. And yes, I know that these things are hard to predict but I just want a rough idea. It's not hard, it's impossible to predict PD movements since none of us have the relevant data.
