do we have to pay $165 before travel to state for k-1

hi vj friends .

since my k-1 visa was approved recently ,i have collected my passport recently from Amex islamabad.

and the lady at the counter told me that i have to pay $165 before i travel to states for k-1. I asked her i am on fiance K-1 ,and i was assuming it was spousal visa where you make $165 before travelly to states,BUT SHE SAYS NO ITS FOR EVERY ONE.

I am travelling soon and i really wanted to know that do i really have to make this payment???

if yes than we can make it online payment on how?

any help much appreciated as im flying soon

I came here on a k1 visa an I never paid a fee an never heard of anyone else paying it either

You actually can! That sounds exciting

But technically speaking, you have 90 days to get married. As long as you get hitched within those days, you're good to go.
