Oo, my fiances friend was asked to hand over the noa1 and noa2. I brought the NOA2 as I figured that was more important. I can't find my noa1 letter all I have is the email. Should we be nervous that visa could be delayed. I was under the impression that the noa1 is pretty uesless...ahh run on sentences

During the interview? NO, NOA 1 was not being asked and not even NOA 2. They are asking for a document reference for your MNL Number, if you received the US Embassy Manila letter bring that; if not you can screen shot your case update from USCIS website.

Here's my interview experience for your reference:

Can I make a suggestion. Create a free depository with google drive, drop box or any other service so that when you do get documents you scan them and place them in the depository. We did this during our time processing and she and I were able to share documents and updates. Our sole purpose of doing this is so if a document did get misplaced we could at least get a copy to print off where needed. We used drop box and found it to be the easiest of the ones out there to use. Best part is its FREE.

I talk about this more here with links to the different services. http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!manila-process-usem/c95x

Who is asking for the NOA 1&2???? Neither are needed for the visa process in Manila.

You WILL need your NOA2 for AOS after you are married so hopefully you didn't give away the original

A friend she met during her medical who had her interview last week, was asked to give it to the interviewer, I'm only guessing she had to hand it over because she said she had, otherwise why else would they ask for it.

Doubt that is fact, think she was "shining" your fiancee. CO during the interview will not ask for the NOA 1 or 2.

Serious ~ Follow the embassy instructions letter.

Excellent advice and well worth the extra few steps up front. Thanks Greenbaum.

Don't stop with the visa application forms. Your AOS paperwork, passport scans, BC, resumé, unclassified business documents, tax documents and other important notices can all be uploaded, stored and easily accessed from a cloud-based repository. Some services even offer options for encryption if your documents hold sensitive PII.
