It can be hard. It seems there is always someone in need "back home" and even though your heart will tell you to jump in, there are times you just can't.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

It just breaks my heart to sit here and eat while my very own blood innocent children suffer.

The above statement in bold made an impact to me as I have heard it many times in the immigration community, be it online forums or people I have met going through immigration. Even my wife has made similar comments. From what I gather, it is sort of a guilt-like feeling of being in a better situation while other family members are suffering. It is human nature to want to help those we love even more so to minors.

I commend you for doing all that you can for these children. The plan you and you husband have is very proactive and is a great plan.

I sincerely wish you and your family the best of luck.

Thank you very much. They're just too young to suffer.
