Bank Statements

So I have been reading to send three months from each year, but do they need all 15 - 20 pages of the statements? The first two pages show our names, account numbers and address. I feel like they don't need the transaction documents as it is going to make my packet over 200 pages with just bank statements.

They need to see that the account is actually being used, I would at a minimum send the complete statement for the months you are choosing to send, and personally I will send the complete statement from every month

During the whole duration of the process, from AOS to N-400 which Im applying for now, I only sent the first statement then 3 random statements per year (usually Jan-July or Aug-Nov or Dec), and the latest 3 statements and so far had no issues nor was questioned about it. It was still bulky but not as much if I send all the statements.

I sent the earliest statement we had joint, two middle-ish, and the latest. My beginning and ending balances were on the first page so I felt it adequately showed usage when they varied by thousands. It wasn't like $250, $252, $253, and $255 after two years. So I did only use first page, highlighting in yellow names, date, and beginning/ending balance.

I don't know if your bank Includes thumbnails of checks, but mine does so I picked a couple of select pages where each of us had written check. Normally I write the few checks we have each month, but looked for any that had each of us writing checks to show we both used the account. If one person writes all the checks, then no point.

From our recent 2014-2015 ROC experience, we initially sent in complete initial, quarterly, most current bank statements. After the RFE request for all documents "since inception of the marriage," we sent in the whole enchilada..... all months, all pages, everything and anything that had both of our names on it.
